The 2024 Walk for Life is May 18!
Registration begins at 8:30 am and the Walk starts at 9 am. Please arrive early to be sure you are registered in time! We meet right here at First Step PRC, 336 Mt Hope Ave. (in the parking lot)

Our theme this year is Pro-Science, Pro-Woman, Pro-Life! Women deserve to know the TRUTH – they do have options with their pregnancy. Options both they AND their child can LIVE with! We need YOUR help to reach them and minister to them.
Come join us for an easy 2 mile walk on city sidewalks. There will be free refreshments, balloons, and door prizes. Come celebrate life with us and support First Step PRC!

How to participate in the Walk for Life:
1. Ask EVERYONE you know to sponsor you. Don’t worry about collecting funds – we do that!
2. Be sure all names and addresses are complete and easy to read. We NEED mailing and email addresses to contact your pledge sponsors and send receipts.
3. Bring your completed Pledge Form(s) with you the day of the walk. More forms can be found below. Print as many as you need! Or call First Step for more. 942-1611
4. First 100 Walkers with at least 3 pledges receive a free t-shirt! Shirts will be available for purchase after the Walk for $15 each.
A gift of $300 will help provide a pregnancy test, options’ education and resources, and an ultrasound for at least 3 women! Women in unplanned pregnancies deserve support, compassion, and the truth.
First Step offers free pregnancy testing and limited ultrasounds to determine viability, accurate education on all options, free STD testing and treatment, free prenatal and parenting classes, free diapers, baby supplies, and maternity clothes. We also have Bible study groups, an abortion recovery group, and a miscarriage recovery group. And we offer a free Healthy Lifestyles Class for area high schools and youth groups. All services and materials are FREE. We receive no state or federal funding of any kind. All funding is received from people just like you! Thank you for giving!
